The brackets for PRIDE's Open-Weight Grand Prix Final Four have been set, according to the organization's Japanese Web site. In a rematch of an April 2002 bout, Wanderlei Silva (Pictures) fights Mirko Filipovic (Pictures). Meanwhile Josh Barnett (Pictures) takes on Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (Pictures).
The Silva-Filipovic clash puts the two in the same ring for the first time since fighting to a draw in a special-rules bout that limited ground action; going the distance resulted in an automatic draw.
Barnett-Nogueira offers a compelling clash of former UFC and PRIDE champions.
Both the semifinals and finals will be fought September 10 in Tokyo's Saitama Super Arena. It's expected the Grand Prix winner will face PRIDE heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko (Pictures) on New Year's Eve.
