Aminosyreprofilen, antagligen.
"difference in the insulin response was probably due to different insulinogenic effects of the protein components"
Diabete Metab. 1987 Nov-Dec;13(6):603-6.
Helt säkert är det dock inte.
"The mechanism for the insulinotrophic effect of milk is not known, and the potential long-term metabolic consequences need to be elucidated."
Eur J Clin Nutr. 2001 Nov;55(11):994-9.
"Milk was a particularly potent insulin secretagogue; the observed insulin response was approximately 5-fold greater than would be anticipated from the glucose response."
Diabetologia. 1986 Nov;29(11):784-91.
"A possible explanation for an insulinotropic effect of milk involves amino acids and lipids, because it is known that these components can increase the insulin secretion or the insulin demand of a meal"
Am J Clin Nutr. 2001 Jul;74(1):96-100.
