Glowing Skin More Attractive Than Chiseled Features
Start loading up on veggies, guys, because a healthy glow will get you far more interested looks than a chiseled jaw ever could.
A new study from the University of Nottingham shows that women are more attracted to men with healthy, glowing skin, more so than any other feature.
This healthy glow is one that can only come from healthy eating and exercise habits. Dr. Ian Stephen, leader of the study, said, “Our study shows that being healthy may be the best way for men to look attractive. We know that you can achieve a more healthy looking skin colour by eating more fruit and vegetables, so that would be a good start.”
Eat a variety of different colored fruits and vegetables — different colors means different nutrients. Oranges, like carrots and squash, contain beta-carotene that fights free radical damage and lots of Vitamin C. Reds, like tomatoes and watermelon, contain lycopene, which is a powerful antioxidant. Greens, like kale and spinach, contain lots of iron, folate and calcium, which are all great for maintaining healthy blood pressure and strong skin.
